Indoor Soccer

On Monday nights November through February, except the first Monday of each month, we have indoor soccer in the multipurpose room.Third through sixth graders will play from 6-7 p.m. and middle school and high school ages play from 7-8:30 p.m. Wear tennis shoes and shin guards and bring a dark and a white shirt.

Upward Basketball

From January through March, on Saturday mornings and afternoons, basketballs are heard dribbling back and forth in the multipurpose room as children from Kindergarten through 6th grade play basketball.

Two games at a time play width wise on the basketball court. Children are placed on teams according to age and skill level. At halftime, a personal testimony is shared with parents and grandparents. The games are one hour long.

During the week a one-hour practice is scheduled for the children to work on their skills and halfway through the practice the children are taught a Christian application by their coach.

Adult volunteers are needed to coach the teams and referee the games.

radKIDS is a personal empowerment safety education program where children ages 8 through 11 learn several principles of self defense and tactics to use against various types of assaults. This is a 10 hour course of instruction taught by the Delaware County Sheriff's Office and the goal is to reduce a child's risk of becoming a victim of crime. There is a minimal fee, which includes a t-shirt, wristband and handbook. Course dates and times vary.

Let the one who serves serve in the strength which God supplies that in everything God may get the glory through Jesus Christ.
