How to get connected:
One -- Get Involved
We hope to both serve people in the name of Christ and involve people in ministry. There is a place for you! You do not have to commit to membership to be a full part of worship, study, fellowship and outreach.
We are a permission giving congregation, so we encourage you to help us develop new ministries. Want to see something happen? We'll help make it happen.
Two -- Join a Small Group
We have many small groups and fellowship groups (click here for more info). We invite you to join one. These small groups help you meet and become friends with fellow Christians.
Three - Attend Pizza with the Pastor
About four times a year Gillian Storey, Director of Adult Ministries, hosts Pizza with the Pastor, where Pastor Brian shares information and God's vision for our church. This evening gives you the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about what God is doing at Sunbury UMC. For more information, contact Gillian at gstorey@sunburyumc.org.
Four -- Join the church
Soon after attending Pizza with the Pastor, new members will be received into the congregation. This is a time when new members come forward during a Sunday morning worship service to make their vows and officially join Sunbury UMC. Our entire congregation celebrates you becoming a part of our very special church family.
