Mission Statement: Sunbury UMC Youth programs will provide a safe place for youth to explore their identity as children of God, to grow and develop into that personal identity, and to share that identity with the community of the group, the church, and the world.  

Our Teen Ministries programs include a variety of opportunities for students from 6th - 12th grade. These include interactive Bible studies, service and mission opportunities, and fellowship with friends from church and the community, as well as being involved in the overall life of the church.

Our youth pastor, Katy Wright, has a masters degree in Christian Education with a specialization in Youth Ministry from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio.  Katy has worked with youth in a variety of capacities, including camping ministry at Camp Wanake, a UM church camp located in Beach City, Ohio, where she first recognized the call into youth ministry.
