This class works it all! A combination of cardio for your heart and lungs, including high or low impact aerobics and kick boxing, and toning and resistance work for upper and lower body and abs. You will make gains in strength, flexibility and endurance. You will develop core strength with our safe, effective workout.
Get your heart rate and spirits lifted with motivating music to keep you moving. Exercise modifications are shown so beginners to seasoned athletes will get the most benefit from the class. Resistance bands are available. Participants are asked to bring 1-10 lb. hand weights if desired.

Gena Richard

Gena has been teaching group fitness for 22 years. Gena is certified in CPR and through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She teaches high/low impact aerobics, cardio kick boxing, body sculpting and core classes at Westerville Parks and Recreation and Total Body Workout at SUMC. In addition to teaching fitness classes, Gena works part time. Gena has been married for 20 years and lives with her husband, two children, one spoiled cat, and a rabbit. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys her downtime at home. Gena practices what she preaches - making fitness and personal prayer a big part of her life! Weather Policy
If Big Walnut Schools are closed, daytime and evening classes are cancelled. If there is a two-hour school delay, morning classes are cancelled. If there is an early school release, evening classes are cancelled.
For the comfort of all participants, we ask that you do not sell products or services during our fitness classes. Thanks so much for your cooperation!
