Praize is our contemporary Christian music worship team.  Praize serves our church by providing the music for the 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. services.  The mission of the Praize team is, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to create an atmosphere of worship filled with warm Christian fellowship and passionate, participatory worship of God.  We desire to lead the congregation into a deeper, more personal, more meaningful relationship with the Holy Trinity through songs of worship and praise.

Praize may occasionally serve at other special events, but our primary focus is ministering to our church family here at SUMC each Sunday morning.

Praize members are SUMC members who volunteer their time to participate in this ministry.  Praize generally rehearses once during the week and on each Sunday morning prior to the start of the first service.
