Music & Worship for Children

Cherub Choir

Cherub Choir is for our youngest members, 3 years old – Kindergarten who want to sing and have fun.  Cherubs practice on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:00 and sing on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

Kids of the Kingdom

Kids of the Kingdom is for children grades 1-6. They meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 September through May and sing each month, usually on the third Sunday. They also present the annual Christmas Musical at the 11:00 worship service on a Sunday in December. There are some extra practices during this time. Dates and times will be announced.

Carpenter’s Bells

Carpenter Bells is an opportunity for children to learn the art of bell ringing. They practice a few weeks before sharing their ringing during one of the 11:00 Sunday morning worship services. Carpenter's Bells is open to children 4th through 8th grade.

“I am the Light of the World, whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the Light of Life.”
John 8:12

The role of an Acolyte is very important. Acolytes bring the Light of Christ into the sanctuary to begin the worship service to show the presence of God with us. At the end of the service, acolytes take the Light of Christ out of the sanctuary and into the community.

If you are in 2nd-5th grade and are interested in becoming an acolyte for the 11:00 service, please contact Heidi Stimmel at 740-965-3813 or email at All children will receive training and review before they begin.

Let the one who serves serve in the strength which God supplies that in everything God may get the glory through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 4:11
